Getting started
How do I place an order?
Contact us through our online form, by email or by phone — or start in our 3D designer. We’ll discuss your project, create a design plan and provide a detailed quote before any work starts.
What types of containers can you convert?
We work with standard shipping containers in 10ft, 20ft and 40ft sizes, converting them into homes, offices, gyms, workshops, retail spaces, bars, storage and more — fully customised to your requirements.
Can I customise the design?
Yes. We offer full customisation, including layout, insulation, electrics, plumbing, doors, windows and branding. Our design team will work with you to bring your idea to life.
Are the containers new or used?
New.
How much does a conversion cost?
It depends on size, layout and finishes. Our 3D designer shows an indicative price as you build, and we’ll confirm a firm quote after talking through your project.
Planning & your site
Before we arrive
Do I need planning permission for a converted container?
It depends on your council, location and how the container will be used. Some uses may not need permission, while homes and many commercial uses usually do. We recommend speaking with your local planning authority before you begin — see our planning guide.
What site preparation do I need before delivery?
You’ll need a level, solid surface such as concrete, tarmac or compacted hardcore for the container to sit on, plus clear access for delivery vehicles. We can advise on site requirements during the planning stage.
Can you connect utilities like power and water?
Yes — we install electrical wiring, lighting, plumbing and heating as part of your conversion, and can liaise with your contractors to connect the container to your on-site utilities.
Build & delivery
From workshop to your site
How long does a conversion take?
Typical projects take 4–8 weeks depending on complexity and workload. We’ll confirm an estimated lead time when you place your order.
Are converted containers secure and weatherproof?
Absolutely. Our conversions are built with security and durability in mind — fully wind- and watertight, insulated for year-round use, and we can add extra security such as reinforced doors, locks and alarms.
Do you deliver nationwide?
Yes, we deliver to most locations across the UK. Delivery costs depend on your postcode and site access.
Do you offer installation on site?
Yes, we can arrange offloading and positioning at your location, as well as final fit-out if required.
Can I return a converted container?
As our conversions are made to order, we can’t accept returns once the build has started. We’ll make sure every design detail is agreed with you before production begins.
